DGES Annual & IAGE North Zone 2017
The annual conference of DGES and IAGE (North Zone) was held on 25-27th August 2017. IAGE president Dr. Nandita Palshetkar, DGES President Dr. Malvika Sabharwal, Hon. Secretary IAGE Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar and Hon. Secretary DGES Dr. Shivani Sabharwal spearheaded this mega event. Attended by more than 400 delegates from India and neighboring countries the theme of the conference was “Safe endoscopy for all”.
Two Pre congress workshops on Endo suturing and Hysteroscopy where 60 delegates actively participated were held on 25th August 2017.
Live satellite relay from Apollo Spectra Hospital of different Endoscopic surgeries to India Habitat center was done on 26th Aug 2017. The Operating faculty included stalwarts like Dr. Prakash Trivedi, Dr. Prashant Mangeshikar, Dr. Sanjay Patel,Dr. Alka Kriplani, Dr. Malvika Sabharwal, Dr. B Ramesh ,Dr. Hafeez rahman Dr. Deepak Limabachiya ,Dr. Dinesh kansal.
The Scientific session was conducted on 27th August 2017. Carefully selected topics and interactive sessions made the session crisp and put across the theme of the conference.
Indian Journal of Gynaecological Endoscopy was released by Mr. C.K Mishra, Health Secretary, Govt. of India who also graced the occasion as the Chief Guest Dr. Girish Tyagi ,secretary ,Delhi Medical Council and Dr. Shalini Rajaram, President AOGD were the guests of honor.
